Information we receive

When you send a collection brief, we receive your first and last name, work email, company, requested data type, expected monthly volume, timeline, and any task or technical details you choose to include. We also receive information you send by email or provide when scheduling a call. Please do not include sensitive personal information, participant recordings, or information you are not authorized to share.

Our hosting and form providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request times, and security logs when you visit or submit a form.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond to you, assess your requirements, arrange discussions, prepare proposals, and manage our business relationship. Technical information helps operate the website, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse. Information may also be used to meet legal obligations and handle disputes. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.

Service providers and sharing

Our inquiry form sends the information you enter to FormSubmit for delivery to our email inbox. See FormSubmit’s privacy policy. Our hosting and email providers also process information needed to operate these services.

Our scheduling link opens Google Calendar. Information you provide there is handled through Google under its privacy policy, and booking details are shared with us to arrange the meeting. External services may use their own cookies and collect technical information.

We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, or address security issues. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.

Cookies and tracking

The website does not currently include advertising pixels or analytics scripts in its application code. Hosting infrastructure and external form or scheduling services may use cookies or similar technologies for their own operation and security. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry correspondence as needed to respond, manage ongoing business discussions, and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the nature of the inquiry and any resulting relationship. You can contact us to request deletion. Provider copies and logs are also subject to those providers’ retention practices. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to stop following up about an inquiry. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@gestodata.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally required. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Collection programs and children

This website is intended for business inquiries, not children. The inquiry form does not authorize recording an individual or using their image, voice, motion, biometric information, or other participant data for AI training. Real-world collection programs require separate project agreements, participant notices, and any necessary permissions before collection begins.
